Version 2026-07-23 · Effective 2026-07-23 · Provider: Pipcast, Inc.

Full notice: IP Craft Privacy Policy

Pipcast provides this notice for transparency at collection points. Providing it does not concede that any particular statute applies to a given activity.

Notice at Collection

Pipcast, Inc. provides the IP Craft software service. We collect the following categories of personal information when you visit our site, create or use an account, contact us, or make a purchase:

  • identifiers and business contact information, such as name, work email, account identifier, organization, and IP address;
  • account, authentication, role, and security information;
  • commercial information, such as subscription, purchase, invoice, refund, and transaction details;
  • internet or other electronic activity information, such as device/browser information, timestamps, pages or features used, and diagnostic events;
  • communications and support information; and
  • professional or employment-related information that you or your organization provides.

When customers place personal information inside invention disclosures, patent drafts, prosecution records, or other Customer Content, Pipcast generally processes that information on behalf of the customer under the Data Processing Agreement rather than for Pipcast’s independent purposes.

We use personal information to:

  • create and administer accounts;
  • provide, secure, support, and improve the Service;
  • authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • process purchases, subscriptions, taxes, refunds, and accounting;
  • communicate about the Service and respond to requests;
  • comply with law and enforce agreements; and
  • maintain deidentified or aggregated operational metrics that do not identify a person.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We retain information for the periods or criteria described in the Privacy Policy, including as needed for the customer relationship, legal and accounting obligations, security, disputes, backups, and contractual data-return/deletion obligations.

Read the full Privacy Policy at https://ipcraft.co/privacy or contact privacy@ipcraft.co.

Pipcast and Stripe use billing, transaction, payment-identifier, tax, and fraud-prevention information to complete and account for this purchase. Pipcast does not receive your full card number. See the Privacy Policy and Billing Policy.

We use your contact details and message to respond, manage the relationship, and maintain appropriate business and security records. Do not include confidential invention details in a public marketing contact form. See the Privacy Policy.

IP Craft uses strictly-necessary cookies and browser storage for sign-in and session security only, for purposes such as:

  • authentication and session continuity;
  • security and fraud prevention;
  • user interface preferences, such as theme or language; and
  • preserving application state.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share data for behavioral advertising. Our public marketing site sets no cookies. IP Craft does not require a standalone cookie banner solely because necessary authentication or security storage is used.

If we later add nonessential analytics or advertising technologies in a jurisdiction requiring prior consent, we will update this notice and provide the required choices before using them.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control signals do not currently trigger an opt-out from those practices. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals as a separate preference standard. If our practices change, we will update this disclosure and honor legally required signals.
