Every priced artifact is a produced deliverable you keep — you, or your own counsel, review, sign, and file it. Interactive help — portfolio Q&A, analyses, a patentability pre-screen — is always free.
| Artifact | You filesoftware |
|---|---|
| Provisional draft | $500 |
| Non-provisional (utility) draft | $1,500 |
| Office-action response draft | $500 |
Software prices exclude USPTO fees — you file, so you pay them directly (a provisional is $130 for a small entity).
Full-service filing is on our roadmap. If launched, professional filing would be provided under a separate engagement with an identified USPTO-registered patent practitioner — subject to conflicts review, scope, availability, and practitioner acceptance. It is not offered today.
Pricing questions
Do I need a subscription to draft an application?
No. Drafting is pay-per-artifact — you buy a draft when you need one, with a card at first purchase. The $20/user Team plan is only for collaboration features; it isn't required to draft or file.
Who signs and files?
You do. Every priced artifact is a draft you, or your own counsel, review, sign, and file under your registration number — no practitioner or USPTO fees are included in the price.
Are USPTO fees included?
No — you pay USPTO fees directly when you file (a provisional is $130 for a small entity). Our prices cover the drafted artifact only.
Is docketing really free?
Yes. Unlimited statutory-deadline docketing is included on the free tier — we'd rather you never miss a bar date than nickel-and-dime the calendar.
You or your own counsel reviews, signs, and files.
